By phoebusapollo on Wed Oct 29 2014

5.3 mile run outside in Monroeville Community Park, windy day cool breeze, felt very nice. A little chilly by most people’s standards, but probably one of the last few nice days before winter approaches.

Ran 3 miles, walked about .3 extra miles. Beautiful evening at Boyce Park, wind was cool and breezy. Had little time in the evening so put off the workout day for the next day.

Exercise Log 10.19.14 (Dev Day)

By phoebusapollo on Sun Oct 19 2014

Developmental Day, need to work on bench pressing so it was very chest focused. Felt very weak on my bench press, not completely sure why. Pause Close Grip Bench Press: Set 1) 5 reps @ 155lbs. Set 2) 3 reps @ 155lbs. Set 2 felt very weak so I stepped down in weight. Set 3) […]

Exercise Log 10.14.14 (Deadlift & Squat Day)

By phoebusapollo on Tue Oct 14 2014

Deadlift & Squat Day, cycle 3. Want to note this was a particularly low energy day, but I got through it. Deficit Deadlift: Did these by using smaller diameter 35lb plates (instead of the usual technique most will do of just standing on a pair of plates). Just feels more natural and I liked these. […]

Exercise Log 10.5.14 (Short Boyce Park Hike)

By phoebusapollo on Sun Oct 05 2014

Rest day today but did a nice 3-ish mile hike through Boyce Park to calm my head. I’ve done very little cardio this week, work has been demanding/stressful and a calm relaxing hike was definitely needed. After things cool off at work, I’ll try to find more time for runs.

Exercise Log 9.28.14 (The Great Race)

By phoebusapollo on Sun Sep 28 2014

Today was the Great Race, my preparation for any kind of race has been extremely light, so my performance was definitely at question but at the end of the day, I felt like I did acceptably good. Kept a 8:40 mile, which was reasonable considering my cardio conditioning has been at near non-existance over the […]

Socialism WORKS!

Socialism WORKS! is a short website presentation I put together years ago with help from a friend. It is something of a snarky take on Socialism, critical of the advantages of Socialism from various origins of the idea.
