Exercise Log 11.4.14 (Deadlift & Squat Day)

Nearing the end of my trouble at work, and after maybe 2 1/2 weeks of doing something at work every single day I’m finally on a day off. Refreshed from an extra day of rest, it’s time to start Deadlift & Squat day for cycle 6. Time to test my strength and validate my training variables.

Deadlift: Set 1) 5 reps @ 275lbs. Set 2) 3 reps @ 290lbs. Set 3) 2 reps @ 310lbs. Strength test (singles to failure): 5 reps @ 320lbs. Took everything in the tank to grind out the last rep, so felt good about this session. I’m going to increase my training max to 350lbs, and just because I’m wary of going up too quickly on this lift, I’m going to highly consider only adding 5lbs next mesocycle. We’ll see.

High Bar Back Squat: Set 1) 3 reps @ 160lbs. Set 2) 3 reps @ 170lbs. Set 3) 3 reps @ 180lbs.

Bent Over Rows: 5 sets of 5 reps @ 135lbs.

Lat Pulldowns: 6 sets of 5 reps @ 150lbs.

Seated Rows: 3 sets of 8 reps @ 150lbs.

Socialism WORKS!

Socialism WORKS! is a short website presentation I put together years ago with help from a friend. It is something of a snarky take on Socialism, critical of the advantages of Socialism from various origins of the idea.
