Exercise Log 4.30.14 (Arm Day, No Cardio)

For whatever reason, my energy levels were at an all time low this week. Perhaps psychologically I was simply ready to start my week off from my training plan. I don’t know, but all I do know is when I hit the gym parking lot and immediately took a 30 minute nap, I knew on waking that I just had to head straight home.

On arrival back home I shook myself awake with plenty of Coke Zero and got to work on arm day at home. This will be the last day of it’s kind, as my training plan will not have a lot of specialized arm exercises. Will hope to see how this affects my bicep/tricep development.

Overhead Tricep Extensions (w/curl bar) / Dumbbell Curls: 4 sets of 12 reps overhead extensions @ 45lbs & 12 reps (each hand) curls @ 30lbs.

Dips / Light Curl Bar Bicep Curls (High Intensity): 4 sets of 12 dips @ bodyweight / 10 curls @ 45lbs. The curls were very slow cadence/tempo in a high intensity fashion and wore me out fast.

French Press / Curl Bar Bicep Curls: 4 sets 10 french press / 10 bicep curls both @ 65lbs.

Tricep Kickbacks / Light Dumbbell Bicep Curls (High Intensity): 3 sets of 8 reps kickbacks @ 30lbs / 8 reps curls @ 15lbs (very slow cadence/tempo).

Pullups: 3 sets of 8 reps.
